i have a ped-basic to use with my brother embroidery machine.i save designs from the internet.?
seems to work allright till i put the card in the embroidery machine.then it tells me this card cannot work.turn off power,and change to emboridery card.can someone help me?
go into the hoop size setting and choose a smaller hoop......the brother machined will not work on the larger hoop seting.....i had the same trouble and stumbled upon the answer by accident.
even the dealer did not know of this problem and thought i had broken her machine because of all the noise the ped basic chip caused when she put it on the 6000 machine.
try this and i think your problem will be solved.

Is the design that you are trying to use too large for your machine? Is the design in the correct format (.pes)?

I thing that I found with the Ped Basic is that you have to make sure that it is on the 4X4 before you load your patterns on. If not you can not get them on to your embroidery machine. Hope this helps.

Also, don’t forget to unzip the design. I know I have forgotten to unzip before putting on my card.

In Ped-Basic, make sure you have correct hoop size selected before transferring designs to card.

Be sure to pick the right hoop size on the PED program when writting to the card. that is what caused my problem when I first go the ped

You may want to call your dealer where you purchased the PED. Sometimes if you get a newer machine than the PED the technology may not read the card. Has the card ever worked? Your dealer should be able to help you with these issues.

you have to make sure that your designs are in PES and also when transfuring them to the card you have to make sure that you hit the transfur button on the bottom of the screen next to the trash button. If you need more help let me know at ladywolf11651@yahoo.com

check the hoopsize in the software when you open your ped and the designs come up at the top is hoopsize there are 3hoop sizes if that is set to big when you writeto your card the machine cant read it.that happen to me it was 6×10 the machine did not read it its only 4×4 and 5×7

Can someone write me where can I buy Ped-basic and how much is it? My friend is in Melbourne now,and she come back for a month to my country (the Czech republic,Europe).There are not Ped basic software avaiable. Only Pe-design and it is very expencive… Sorry about my English,hope you understand me
