		<description>No. Like any machine you can practically use any size or kind of thread. It sounds like maybe  the bobbin is in backward or the wrong size thread is being used with the needle. Also if you are using a thick thread the bobbin needs to be adjusted as well as the tention.The owners manual should have that information. Most fabric stores also can provide the info.
