Choosing An Embroidery Machine For Your Business

In choosing an embroidery machine, you should be very careful and wise. Embroidery machines will be the supporting factor for the sustainability of your business operations, so you should look for the best machines that fall into your price range. In acquiring a machine, you can always buy or lease. Also, there are available second-hand machines for a cheaper price. However, you should be very cautious since once the machine breaks down, your business may also need to stop.
   
Aside from the factors of acquiring the machine, the machine type is an important element in choosing equipment. Embroidery machines designed for business have single or multiple needle heads and your choice should depend on the amount of orders you are willing to deal. If your business is for single items such as personalized gifts, a single head machine is suitable. However, if you have bulk orders, such as company logo embroidery, a multiple-head machine is needed.
   
Multiple-head machines are also good because they are cost effective. In one processing, a single machine can finish embroidery for as many as six products at the same time. An order for a few embroidered cloths can be done with a single-head embroidery machines, but as usual, at a higher price for you and your client.
   
If you are still not certain of your order sizes, try first a single-head machine. If you are beginning to deal larger orders, it is the time to invest in a multiple head machine but keep your old single-head machine aside for sampling and small orders. 

Another option of embroidery machines is a modular type. This modular type can be added when your business is growing.  A modular machine is suitable if your business has a slow and steady growth. This machine is affordable and efficient.
   
Also, you should consider the type of fabrics you are normally using and the designs that you are willing to create. Be very sure that your machine has certain features that can add glamour to your finished products.
   
After you have chosen your machine, you should now consider the manufacturer and the brand. More often than not, suppliers of commercial embroidery machines sell their own machines and with more reputable machine manufacturers, the quality is always good and warranty is also issued. You need to consider the price in finding a quality machine. Consider also the warranty and cost for repairs whenever the machine broke down.
