I have a brother embroidery machine a pe 100, It keeps saying that either the top or bottom thread is cut or the needle is bent. I have tried EVERYTHING it keeps locking and never finishes a pattern.
Can anyone tell me some troubleshooting ideas. I am really at a loss and looking to finish a pattern for once!

This is a sweet little machine and my first introduction to machine embroidery.
Open the bobbin area and see if there is lint or snips of thread that is causing the problem.
You should remove the needle plate and bobbin case to be sure all is clean.
Turn the power off and raise the needle to it’s highest position before cleaning this area.
Also, check the thread to be sure it is not catching on the spool and spool pin.
Thread with the presser foot up and make sure the bobbin thread is feeding from the bobbin spool in the correct direction and through the proper guides.
Put in a new needle and double check to be sure it is inserted with the flat side facing the back of the machine.
If you are still having a problem, it could be the timing is off and needs to be adjusted. You can try this or take it in to a dealer for repair – take a sample of the stitching so they can see what is happening.
